Melvyn Douglas Sacks
Before entering private practice as a criminal defense attorney,
Melvyn Douglas Sacks was a Deputy District Attorney for the County of
Los Angeles and since then he has had a long and distinguished career
defending criminal matters in both state and federal courts. He has tried over 100 jury trials in all types of criminal matters from homicide and street crime to white collar crime.
He has been dedicated to the aggressive pursuit of every legal and ethical avenue available to protect his clients’ constitutional and statutory rights
in criminal cases. He has been his clients’ shield from over-zealous police and prosecutors, and has taken that obligation seriously. By insuring that his clients’ constitutional rights are honored, he has in fact protected the right of the entire community.
